Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc.
311 Broadway
Hanover, PA 17331

Constructed in 1853, the Panebaker Funeral Home is a true historic building. It is said that General Custer passed by this house the day before the Battle of Gettysburg, while skirmishing with General J.E.B. Stuart.

Families find comfort here among the collections of Hanover memorabilia, the overflowing flower boxes, and the welcoming porch along the side. In a lovely pre-Victorian setting, the funeral home accommodates large groups for visitations and services. A combination organ and piano is available for those who wish to play, and comfortable groupings of classic furniture invite quiet conversation and recollection.

There is ample, well-lit parking, and the entire facility is handicap-accessible. You are welcome to visit at any time for a personal tour of this intimate, elegant funeral home.
