Wayne Davis

Wayne Davis, 88, of Abbottstown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at York North Nursing and Rehab. 

Born on Saturday, December 26, 1936 in Mebane, NC, he was a son of the late Sadie Johnson Davis and Willie Rufus Davis. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Dora Davis, who died in 2021; and all of his siblings. Wayne was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life. 

Survivors include his daughter Heidi VanVliet and her husband, Robb; and a granddaughter, Katie VanVliet. 

Services will be held privately.
