Wayne T. Beck, Jr.

Wayne Timothy Beck, Jr., 53 of Hanover, loving husband of Laura Ruth Beck was called to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 18th, 2026.

Born March 10th, 1972, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Joan Joyce Beck and the late Wayne Timothy Beck, Sr. In addition to his wife, he is survived by the family they raised together and many close friends.

Wayne was an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. He had a large presence in the Hanover Area and Trop Rock music scene, and was a member of the Hanover Area Parrot Head Society.

Wayne was passionate about so many things in his life, such as playing guitar, dj’ing, Jimmy Buffet, Star Wars, movies, the beach and hanging out with his friends. He brought smiles to everyone he met and had an infectious laugh that anyone who met him will never forget. He was always up for an adventure that usually ended with a great story to tell. Wayne had a heart of gold that will be greatly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 30th, 2026 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W. Chestnut St. in Hanover with The Rev. Alex Sheppard-Witt and The Rev. Faye C. Snyder officiating. A reception will follow. A celebration of life event will also be held at a later date.
