Susan Ann Fralic

Susan A. (Sipes) Fralic, 67, passed away on October 1, 2026, in her Spring Grove residence.

She was the loving wife of William K. Fralic for 48 years. They met in high school and were married on September 9, 1978.

Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Betsy (Boffen) Sipes of Crownsville, MD and the late Alan Sipes.

She was a graduate of Howard High School in Ellicott City, MD; earned her LPN degree from Hanover School of Nursing, and her RN degree from Penn State School of Nursing Mt Alto.

She spent her entire career in the nursing field. First working in nursing homes in Catonsville, MD at 16 as a nursing assistant. She worked in several doctors' offices and the critical acute rehab unit at Hanover Hospital as she furthered her education in nursing. Sue finished her career as an RN for Wellspan Gettysburg Hospital.

She loved sewing, reading, and putting together challenging puzzles. She extended her nursing instinct to her family always being present for anyone with a health concern.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Ian G. (Anne) Fralic, Hanover and Caitlin E. (Brent) Mundis Nonemaker, Spring Grove; three brothers: Michael, David, and Fred Sipes; and six grandchildren: Logan, Liam, Claire, Bentley, Connor, and Grace.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover, with a celebration of life to begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
