Stanley J. Holstein

Stanley J. Holstein, 87, of Hanover, beloved husband of Kimberly Zublick Holstein, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at his home.

Born on Sunday, January 2, 1938 in Rumble, Jefferson County, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Clyde S. and Hester (Asbury) Holstein. Stanley retired in 1989 from Bethlehem Steel in Sparrows Point, Maryland, where he had been a pipe fitter for 33 years. A member of Missionary Bible Baptist Church, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Surviving, in addition to his devoted, caring wife of 37 years, are three children, Chuck Holstein and his wife, Ellie, Patricia Brannock and her husband, Carlton, and Mary Pawlak and her husband, Bill; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jay Holstein.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Missionary Bible Baptist Church, 920 Beck Mill Road in Hanover with The Rev. Mark Rohnke officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
