Russell L. Cool

Russell L. Cool, 51, of Hanover, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at UPMC Hanover.

Born on Wednesday, December 4, 1974 in Hanover, he was a son of Kathy Marie Myers Adams and the late Francis Samuel Cool. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, David S. and Goldie M. Myers. Russell was a 1993 graduate of Hanover High School and worked for The Campbell’s Company. He was an avid comic book collector and movie buff and enjoyed classic video games.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his brother, Kelly James Cool and his wife, Heather Dawn; one nephew, James Tyler Cool; an uncle, William Myers and his wife, Paula; and numerous cousins.

Following cremation, a gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
