Robert Earl Sanders

Robert Earl Sanders, 61, of Hanover, beloved husband of SueAnn King Sanders, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 following a brief illness.

Born on Saturday, August 3, 1963 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Roseann E. and Raphael L. Sanders, Jr. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Raphael L. “Smoke” Sanders III. Rob was employed by Utz Snack Foods since 1990 and was a member of the Hanover Republican Club and enjoyed photography, golfing, and wood working. He was renowned for the beautiful things he created from his woodworking.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of nearly 10 years, are twin sons, Dylan Sanders, of York, and Nicholas Sanders, of Hanover; brothers, Michael Sanders and his wife, Teri, of Lititz, and Charlie Sanders and his wife, Anna, of Fruitland, MD; sister, GeriLynn Benzel and her husband, Marc, of York; and many nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, and cousins.

A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Panebaker Funeral Home & cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway in Hanover.
