Robert W. Reichart, our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather, 83, of Spring Grove, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025 at his home.

Born on Saturday, June 20, 1942 in Hanover, he was the son of the late William W. and Dorothy O. (Reaver) Reichart. He was also preceded in death by his wife of nearly 60 years, Vonnie J. (Woodward) Reichart, who died in 2020; and a sister, Jane Poole.

A 1960 graduate of Eichelberger High School, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from Shippensburg University in 1964 and later received a Master’s Equivalency degree from Bowling Green State University. Robert taught at Susquehannock High School from 1964 to 1976 before becoming a partner with his father at Reichart Well Drilling until his retirement in 2008. He took great pleasure in hunting, and enjoyed watching sports, traveling (especially to Germany to drink a good beer!), challenging his forever curious mind, cooking, going to the casino and completing puzzles. His greatest pride and joy was his family and he loved spending time with them.
