Rhonda Lee Sanders

Rhonda Lee Sanders, 66, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28th, 2025, at her home. 

She was born on Wednesday, September 16th, 1959, in Frederick, MD, and was a daughter of Ronnie Lee Bledsoe and the late Catherine (Kitty) Mae Bledsoe. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Lynn Sanders. Rhonda was a graduate of Catoctin High School and worked for McDonald's for over 30 years, with many of those years as the General Manager of the Steinwehr Ave. Gettysburg location. She was a very devoted mother and was extremely close to her two grandchildren, whom she raised. Rhonda enjoyed her much slower-paced retirement by spending time with family; she especially loved going out to dinner with her sisters and cousins every month, her weekly shopping trips with her daughter and niece, and she also loved her family vacations to Orlando, Florida. 

Survivors include her daughter, Tara Marie Sanders; two grandchildren, Alexis Sanders Simmers and Damion Sanders Simmers; one great-granddaughter, Deliliah Ruth Sanders Simmers; two siblings, Tammy Thomas and Kimberly Chen; a niece, Jamie Gray; two nephews, Ronnie Gray and Corey Kreun; and her stepmother, Roxane Trudell Bledsoe. 

A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.
