Phyllis M. Moul

Phyllis M. Leese Moul, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Messiah Lifeways in Mechanicsburg.

Born on Wednesday, July 29, 1931 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Ernest M. and Treva L. Trone Leese. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Thomas R. Moul, who died in 2010; and four sisters, Doris Staub, Winifred Petry, Jean Bollinger and Shirley Weaver. A 1949 graduate of Eichelberger High School, she was a longtime cafeteria worker for the Hanover Public School District. Phyllis was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hanover. She enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family.

Survivors include a son, Craig T. Moul and wife, Linda, of Hanover; a daughter, Caryn M. Samento and husband, Tony, of Mechanicsburg; a brother, Ronald Leese and wife, Sally, of Hanover; and four grandchildren, James A. Moul of Nashville, TN, Sarah E. Moul of Hanover, and Aidan and Elijah Samento, both of Mechanicsburg.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Marburg Memorial Gardens, 2510 Grandview Road in Hanover with The Rev. Dr. Kathryn Vitalis-Hoffman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way-Suite 270, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W. Chestnut Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
