Paul E. Treynor, 97, of Spring Grove, passed away at Columbia Cottage on September 29, 2026.His first wife, Madeline (Sheidler) Treynor, passed away on March 28, 1977 and his second wife, Ellen Elizabeth (Small) Garvin Treynor, passed away on January 15, 2018.He was a graduate of Eastern High School in 1947, earned his certificate at Capital Radio Engineering Institute, and later graduated George Washington University earning his degree in Electrical Engineering.

Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953 as a Micro Wave Repairman.

He worked at WMAL-TV as a field engineer. Later he was an engineer for Electro International Inc. Paul worked as electrical engineer include Case and Rixon.

He loved the water sailing on the Chesapeake and Codorus Lake for many years. He took great pride in his home and enjoyed outdoor work. Reading was another favorite past time, especially history. Other activities he enjoyed were listening to 1940's music, occasionally played the trombone and ukelele.

Paul is survived by his son, George Treynor, niece, Pam Akers, step-children: James Garviin, Bryan Garvin, and spouse Ruth; Suzanne Bailey, and spouse Daniel; Lisa Maust, and spouse Chris; and Bennett Garvin, and spouse Karen. Several grandchildren also survive him.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to donations to the Salvation Army in your locale, or donations to VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove, 440 Madison St., Hanover, PA 17331.
