Patricia A. Therit

Patricia A. Therit, 81, of New Oxford, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026.

Born on Wednesday, April 19, 1944 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Carroll and Kathleen (Bechtel) Fuhrman. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, Larry Therit, who died in 2004; three infant children; a brother, Terry Baker; and a step-son, Martin Therit. Patricia was a former longtime employee of Utz Quality Foods. She was of the Lutheran faith and a member the Hanover Eagles Aerie #1406, where she was a “Golden Eagle”, and the Hanover AmVets Post #22 and Hanover VFW Post # 2506 Ladies Auxiliaries. She enjoyed completing puzzles and gardening.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle L. McMaster of New Oxford; three step-sons, Larry (Joe) Therit, Jr. of Dillsburg, Terry Therit of Spring Grove and Phillip (Sue) Therit of Dover; a brother, Barry Baker of Hanover; a sister, Sandy Wilt of East Berlin; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway in Hanover. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
