Patricia (Trostle) Almond

Patricia (Trostle) Almond, 87 years young, of Hanover, PA, went to be with her Lord on November 5, 2025 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center, Hanover, PA.

Born on October 10, 1938 in Waynesboro, PA, she was a daughter of the late Mary Geneva Trostle and Wilbur Clair Trostle, both of Cascade, MD. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ben R. Almond, who died in 2012; and a cherished son, Rodney L. Almond, who died in 2002. A life-long devoted mother and homemaker, Patricia’s greatest joys were her faith, abundant family, and numerous friends. She loved to search for treasures at antique stores, shop with her daughters, and took immense pleasure in creating a beautiful home. Above all, Patricia will be remembered for her steadfast faith and her warm, vivacious, and elegant nature and bright spirit.

Patricia is survived by four daughters, Marisa A. Burke (Daniel), Shauna L. Almond, Kambra K. Minor, and Janina A. Almond (Josue); 10 grandchildren, Daniel Burke Jr., Mitchell Burke, Bethany Uchytil (Andrew), Nicolas (Emma) Uchytil, Chelsea Albrecht (Eric), Ashley Minor (Shaunna), Allyson Thomas (Lonnie), Allysa, Hunter (Paige), and Nash Rice; five great grandchildren Ben and Gracie Brakebill, Orin Albrecht, Owen Rice, and Kasen Thomas; five siblings, Ronald Trostle, Neal Trostle (Patricia), Clarita O’Leary (Jerry), Steve Trostle (Jan), and Pamela White (Paul); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Germantown Church of God, 16924 Raven Rock Rd, Highfield-Cascade, MD 21719 with Pastor Steve Trostle officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
