Melvin B. Mann, 92, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Wellspan York Hospital.
Born on Friday, April 21, 1933, he was a US Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. Melvin was a retired employee of Mack Trucks and was a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene where he was active in Bible study and would minister to many people. He was a car enthusiast and loved Christmas and Christmas music.
Survivors include his wife of four years, Nancy L. (Day) Yingling Kinard Mann; three children, Debra Miller and her husband, James, of Mercersburg, Douglas Mann of Hagerstown and Theresa Gunter and her husband, David, of Greencastle; four step-children, William Yingling and his wife, Pamela, Joseph Yingling, all of Hanover, Heidi Smith and her husband, Phil, of Spring Grove, and Shantel Reinbold and her husband, Paul, of Hanover; two half-brothers, Larry and Belvin Mann; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, January 12, 2026 at Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 205 Fulton Street in Hanover with The Rev. David Breedlove officiating. The family will receive friends at a viewing from 6 to 8:00 PM on Sunday at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.
