Margaret A. Myers

Margaret A. Myers, 104, of Hanover, beloved wife of the late John L. Myers, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Concordia at Spiritrust Utz Terrace.

Born on Wednesday, October 26, 1921 in Nanty Glo, PA, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Giovannina (Briando) Zito. She was preceded in death by her eight siblings. Margaret retired in 1982 from the Prudential Insurance Company after many years of service. Margaret was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church of Hanover.

She was a past president of AARP, a member of the former Golden Visions Senior and the Amici d’Italia. Margaret also enjoyed hosting bus trips and serving as past president and volunteer with the Good Samaritan Hospital and Auxiliary of Baltimore, MD.

Margaret is survived by her two children, JoAnn M. Myers of Gettysburg, PA, John L. Myers and his wife Brenda of Coldwater, MI; four grandchildren, Jennifer Kieffer and her husband Brandon, Christopher Myers and his wife Melissa, Monica Jordan and her husband Lee, and Paul J. Stelik; thirteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 220 3rd Street, Hanover. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 from 5-7 PM at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
