Lauri M. Croghan

Lauri M. Croghan, 63, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at her mother’s home while she was surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on Friday, June 29, 1962 in Izmir, Turkey, she was a daughter of Marie (Barnes) Parsons Lovett of Hanover and the late Gerald M. Parsons. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, David L. Croghan, who died in 2018. Lauri retired in 2025 after many years of service as an administrative associate at Carroll Community College. In her spare time, she enjoyed riding horses and spending time with her family, friends and neighbors.

Survivors include two children, Kayla Colasuonno and her husband, Steve, and Aaron Croghan and his wife, Jessica; seven grandchildren, Amelia Reese, Abigail and Tucker Croghan, Cora, Sloane and Steven Colasuonno, and Millie Croghan; a sister, Janice Amen and her husband, John; her loving mother Marie Lovett and step-father, John Lovett; her step-mother, Carolyn Parsons; and her beloved Boston Terrier/French Bulldog mix, Louey.

There will be a gathering for family and friends from 1 to 3:00 PM on February 21, 2026 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway in Hanover.
