Katie Elizabeth Munshower Fellers

Katie Elizabeth Munshower Fellers, 39, of Hanover, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Wellspan York Hospital.

Born on Tuesday, February 24, 1987 in Baltimore, she is a daughter of David Wayne McCauley and Tammy Ann Dick McCauley. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Clinton Joseph Dick and Kenneth Roscoe Munshower; and her grandmother, Mary Calp.

Katie was a truly one-of-a-kind person whose love, loyalty, and compassion touched the lives of so many. She was a fierce protector of those she loved and would go above and beyond for the people and animals who held a special place in her heart.

An animal lover and rescuer at heart, Katie had an extraordinary compassion for animals. She often put the needs of animals above her own. Katie was known for her kind, funny, and silly personality, and her creativity was another beautiful part of who she was. She was very artistic and crafty.

Katie also found beauty in the simple things in life, including spending time in nature and collecting rocks and other small keepsakes.

Her memory will live on in every life she touched, every animal she rescued, every person she helped, and every little piece of beauty she left behind.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her sister, Kira Nowicki; nieces and nephew, Will, Frejya, and Jameson Herren; grandmother, Sandra Jean Dick; uncle, Clinton Joseph Dick and his wife, Gina; aunt, Marie Mays; cousins Joseph Dick and family, and Joshua and Kelsey; and best friend, Mary Timlin and family.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.
