Judith (Judy) A. (Loss) Myers, 84, has gone to be with the Lord, August 15, 2026. Born August 29, 1941 to the late Leland J. Loss and Gertrude M. (Hull) Loss of McSherrystown. She was married 65 years to her husband, Earl E. Myers, Jr. She was a mother to five children: Kimberly Topper (Dennis), New Oxford; Karen Sipe, Dover; Gregory Myers, Hanover; Kelly Myers, Raleigh, NC; and Michelle Weaver (Scott) Myrtle Beach, SC; predeceased by granddaughter Jasmine Milhimes, there are seven surviving grandchildren Amanda Brodbeck (Dustin), Andrew Sipe (Amanda), Amber Shultz (Shane), Benjamin Sipe, Brooke Myers, Courtney Myers, and Chad Myers, and 13 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by brother Gary (Jerry) Loss, her surviving siblings are: Michael Loss (Linda), McSherrystown, Madeline Staub (Robert), New Oxford; Ronald Loss (Terry) in AZ, Donald Loss (Wanda), Hanover.
Judy graduated from Delone Catholic High School class of 1960. She worked for Middleburg Sewing Factory and then the Littlestown Manufacturing Co. (Jack Tar Togs) until both companies closed. She was employed at the Hanover American Legion where she enjoyed working as a bartender until her retirement.
Judy enjoyed family picnics through the years with her siblings where many good memories and laughs were shared. She especially liked entertaining on Christmas Eve. She welcomed family and friends with an open door for all offering plenty of food and Christmas cheer. Judy was an avid bowler and bowled in many bowling leagues over the years. She will be missed by her family for her contagious laughter and smile.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 10am at Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 26 N. 3rd Street, McSherrystown, PA 17344. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in honor of Judy to the Pappus House in Thomasville, PA.
