Hattie E. Brewster

Hattie E. (French) Brewster, 105, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the Gardens at Gettysburg.

Born on Wednesday, May 1, 1912 in Richlands, VA, she was a daughter of the late William Kelly French and Minnie Breighner French. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Glen D.W. “Doc” Brewster, who died in 1990; a son, Junior French; a granddaughter, Jennifer Ann Karl; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary A. Wood of Gettysburg; a son, Alvin French of Jacksonville, FL; a brother, Joe French of Gettysburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 1 pm on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
