Born in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Loretta Claire (Mattingly) and Warren Francis Carbaugh.

Peach was a loan specialist for The Bank of Hanover while simultaneously selling jewelry at Sears and waitressing at Little Red Schoolhouse.

She loved kids and animals especially dogs and cats, and loved feeding her ducks behind the house. A very supportive and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she never missed a game or event for one of her loved ones. She collected watches and Santa Clauses. Peach loved to socialize and could make a friend in any setting. More recently she enjoyed going to the VFW and AMVETS. An excellent cook and baker, her specialty was her homemade peanut butter fudge. A favorite destination was Lake Chautauqua, and she enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her loving companion of 30 years, Charley Albert, Hanover; her children, Daniel A. (Judith) Epley, Gettysburg and Michele L. (Richard) Hoffman, Hanover; Charley's children, Elizabeth Albert, Washington, DC and William Albert, Rockville, MD; six grandchildren: Ryan (Amanda) Hoffman, Douglas (Courtney) Epley, Shaun (Rachelle) Hoffman; Andrew (Emily) Epley, Laura (TJ) Hartlaub, and Justin (Kelsey) Hoffman; 19 great-grandchildren, and one expectant great-grandchild.

Peach was predeceased by her siblings: Delores Sneeringer, Francis Carbaugh, Warren Eddie Carbaugh, and Phillip "Flip" Carbaugh.
