Gary Wayne Kesselring

Gary Wayne Kesselring, 70, of Hanover, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at UPMC Hanover Hospital.

Born on Monday, December 10, 1951 in Thurmont, MD, he was a son of the late Clifford Franklin Kesselring and Ellen Nora O’Donald Kesselring. He was also preceded in death by a wife, Nancy Kesselring; two brothers, Donnie and Rick Kesselring; a sister Ilene Wivell; and two children, Jackie Gotwalt and Theron Hann. Gary was a member of the Westminster Moose Lodge #1381, Littlestown Eagle Post #2226, and the Graceham Volunteer Fire Company. He enjoyed bingo, carnivals, and gun drawings.

Surviving him are his companion of 22 years, Nora L. Arentz; four children, Terry Monheim, Donald Hann, Ronald Hann and his wife, Teresa, and Kim Basore and her husband, Mark; seven step-childen; 16 grandchilden; eight great grandchildren; two siblings, Kathy Snedagar and her husband, Kenny, and Susie Dewees and her husband, Greg; a brother in law, Gene “Tater” Rill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 7 PM at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc 311 Broadway with the Rev. Rodney Gross officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-12 AM and 5-7 PM on Wednesday. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
