Frank William Grube, Jr., 89, of Hanover, died on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Homewood at Plum Creek.
Born on Wednesday, June 24, 1936 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of Frank W. Grube, Sr. and Alverta Alvina Sanders Grube. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Judith Ann Mariner Grube; a daughter, Terry Lynn Foertschbeck; five sisters, Frances Hoppa, Alvina Usi, Gloria Schiedegger, Elsie Ludwig and Jacqueline Kelly and five brothers, Glen Grube, Bruce Grube, Denwood Grube, Paul Grube and Wayne Grube, Sr.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served in Germany, studying sonar. He was an avid reader with a sarcastic wit. He loved football and poker and was a good gambler, who knew the wisdom in managing money well.
He is survived by two daughters, Tina Marie Grube of Hanover and Tracey Ann Nesbitt and her husband, Curt of Lincoln University; six grandchildren, Chelsea Ann Davidson, Molly Caitlin Davidson, Myles Regester, Skylar Regester, Lindsay Wolfe and Alexandra Foertschbeck; two great-grandchildren, Beckett Taylor Bogage and Irie Jade Itrat and two sisters, Valerie Mercer and Carolyn McMullen.
As per his wishes, his body has been donated to further medical education. Following the study, he will be buried next to his wife in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, MD.
