Francis “Frankie” Krepps, 94, beloved husband of Rosemary Wierman Krepps, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on Wednesday, March 23, 1932 in McSherrystown, he was a son of the late Paul Henry Krepps and Dorothy Mae Willet Krepps. He was also preceded in death by his step mother, Blanche Willet Krepps; and his siblings, Leon Krepps, Elizabeth Badrick, and Paul Krepps. Frankie was a 1950 graduate of Delone Catholic High School and worked for Bethlehem Steel for 28 years, Dutch’s Hoagie House, Hanover Hospital, and Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc. for 20 years. He was a member of Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, McSherrystown Home Association, the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 2551, and the Father Cyril J. Allwein Assembly Fourth Degree. Frankie was a man of many talents and quite the jokester. He sang in a barbershop quartet and was an extremely hard worker.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of nearly 70 years, are his three children, Julie Alane Antonaccio, Robert Francis Krepps and his wife, Julie, and Kevin Paul Krepps and his wife, Sherry; 11 grandchildren, Gianni Antonaccio, Brianna Witmer, Chelsea Deesing, Abbey Krepps, Samuel Krepps, Noah Krepps, Destry Krepps, Eli Krepps, Patricia Krepps, Jonah Krepps, and Jerusha Krepps; nine great grandchildren, ; two siblings, Jack Krepps and Dorothy Sabold; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 26 N. 3rd Street, McSherrystown. A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 4-6 PM at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove, 440 Madison St, Hanover, PA 17331.
