Evelyn R. Keith

Evelyn R. Keith, 93, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

Born on Monday, July 18, 1932 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Bertha M. (Hartlaub) Krug. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert C. Keith, who died in 2002; a daughter, Darlene M. Ginter; a grandchild, Chris Ginter; three sisters, Dorothy Myers, Betty L. Smith and Shirley A. Sload; and a brother, John W. Krug, Jr.

While Evelyn's passions in life centered around raising her family and caring for her home, she was an employee at Coulson Heel Company in Hanover, for her few years, where she met her husband, Robert. She loved Christ and was a lifelong member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Evelyn found joy in cooking, baking, and treasured time spent with family. Her personality was characterized by warmth and kindness. Her home was more than just a house; it served as a gathering place for family and friends, who were always welcomed with open arms and delicious meals.

Survivors include six children, Robert C. Keith, Jr.; William A. Keith and his wife, Julie, all of Hanover, Katherine M. Asper and her husband, Stephen, of Thomasville, Barbara A. Harrison and her husband, Brian, of Spring Grove, Theresa K. Crouse and her husband, Thomas, of Taneytown, MD, and Brian D. Keith and his companion, Steph; a son-in-law, Steven Ginter of Thomasville; 21 grandchildren, John, Angie, Nick, Falon, Stephanie, Stevie Jr., Jennifer, Jackie, Meg, Andrea, Amy, Andrew, Aaron, Elizabeth, Joshua, Joseph, Jacob, Sarah, Brandon, Jillian and Maura; 34 great-grandchildren, Randy, Corey, Jacob, Dylan, Haven, Reece, Ty, Trey, Maddie, Peyton, Maci, Karsyn, Khloe, Tanner, Jacob, Tyler, Christian, Jace, DJ, Lydia, Katherine, Jeremiah, Rebecca, Daniel, Jayden, Katie, Gabriel, Kezia, Abigail, Joanna, Ezekiel, Noah, Isaiah and Micah; three great-great-grandchildren, Conor, Coleson and Mya; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved furry companion, Brutus.

The family will receive friends for the viewing on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. Vincent dePaul Church, 220 Third Street in Hanover, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00PM by The Rev. Michael P. Reid, II. Burial will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery.
