Emily F. Young Church Keen
Emily F. Young Church Keen, 87, of Gettysburg, PA entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Genesis Gettysburg Center following a short illness.
Born on May 6, 1924, she lived most of her life in the Baltimore area before moving to Pennsylvania to be closer to her children. She was a member of Penwood Christian Church and loved the Chesapeake Bay.
Survivors include a son, Charles Church, Jr. and his wife, Barbara of Glenville, PA; a daughter, Rosalie McQuaid and her husband, John of Dallastown, PA; a sister, Lorraine Hartman of Joppa, MD; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 15, 2011 at Penwood Christian Church, 8022 Penwood Avenue, Sparrows Point, MD with The Rev. Jim Blevins officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery, Baltimore.
