Douglas D. "Doug" Morris

Douglas D. “Doug” Morris, 41, of Hanover, loving husband of Justina Maria Morris, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Wellspan York Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born on Friday, July 13, 1984 in York, he was a son of Mike and Patti Weaver Morris of Hanover. Doug was a logistics loader for Utz Quality Foods for the last five years. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle; but moreover, spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.

In addition to his wife and parents, Doug is survived by four children, Elizabeth Gibbs and her fiancé, Michael Wickard, Carmen and Brayden Morris, and Mariya Gibbs; a granddaughter, Ryleigh Wickard; his brother, Carl Morris and his wife, Angela; a niece, Kendra Morris; his father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Tanya Stevens; a sister-in-law, Jillian Stevens; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his beloved dog, King.

The family will receive friends at a viewing from 6 to 8:00 PM Monday at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway in Hanover.  Burial will be private.
