Douglas W. Green

Douglas W. “Doug” Green, of Littlestown, beloved husband of Ruth Green, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 7, 2025 at his home.

Born on Thursday, October 4, 1956 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, he was a son of Betty L. (McElroy) Green and the late William D. Green.  Doug loved to write and he was an accomplished author, having written “Awakening – The Eye of the Scalian”. He also wrote science fiction stories for various magazines. A witty person, he enjoyed doing standup comedy on the internet through Second Life. He was also known for being generous with his time in helping families relocate from Romania to England.

In addition to his wife of 49 years and his mother, Doug was survived by two brothers, Donny and Denny Green.
