Dolores M. "Dolly" Topper

Dolores M. “Dolly” Topper, 92, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Homewood Living Plum Creek.

Born on Friday, January 12, 1934 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Richard J. Crowl, Sr. and Pauline M Wagner Crowl. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roland L. Topper, who died in 2006. Dolly was a manager at Doubleday Publishing and was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, where she served on the choir for over 50 years. Dolly enjoyed playing cards and bingo at Homewood.

Survivors include her step sister, Joyce Crowl Vodak; and many nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 4, 2026 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
