Dennis L. King

Dennis L. King, 79, of Glenville, entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at York North Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Born on Thursday, July 18, 1946 in Hanover, he was a son of the late John and Gertrude (Jacoby) King. A gifted and dedicated horseman, Dennis was a long-time devoted employee of Hanover Shoe Farms. He will be long remembered for his devotion and work ethic. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and working with his fish pond.

Survivors include his son, Doug King and his wife, Monica; two grandchildren, Matt King and Brittany Rohrbaugh; two great-grandsons, Colton and Logan Rohrbaugh; two sisters, Luann Hufnagle and Suann Sanders; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Barry King; and a sister, Penny Hastings.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on February 23, 2026 at Rest Haven Cemetery at the corner of Boundary and Westminster Avenues in Hanover with The Rev. Anthony Snively officiating. A celebration of Dennis's life will follow at the Hanover Believers in Christ Church at 301 Maple Avenue in Hanover.  All are welcome to attend.
