Debra Grace "Deb" Peters

Debra Grace “Deb” Peters, 67, of Hanover, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at her home.

Born on Tuesday, May 5, 1959 in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of the late Louis D’Esposito and Geraldine Maimone D’Esposito. She was also preceded in death by her husband of nearly 24 years, Shane Peters, who died in 2024; a sister, Geraldine Barnes; and a brother, John D’Esposito. Deb was a 1977 graduate of Longwood High School. She enjoyed watching General Hospital and spending time with her family. Deb loved her dog and her pet bird.

Survivors include her four children,  Jamie Myers (Justin Grenier), Melissa Mummert (Shawn), Kim Myer, and Jason Myer (Mykel Sunday); 11 grandchildren; two great grandsons; three siblings, Joan Wilson, Joe D’Esposito, and Lisa D’Esposito; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A service will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
