David Jones

David Jones, 77, of Gettysburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at his home.

Born on Tuesday, February 24, 1948 in Parkersburg, WV, he was a son of the late Paul Revere Jones and Velma Mae Doss Jones. He was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Tristan D'Ambrogi; and a brother, Michael Jones. David retired from Baltimore Gas and Electric and attended Life Discovery Church in McSherrystown. He loved to ride his harley, his corvette, cutting grass, and his dogs. David enjoyed watching the history channel and spending time with his family. 

Survivors include six children, Tamra D'Ambrogi and her husband, Craig, Jeff Jones and his companion Melissa Swansboro, Wendy Jones, Ryan Jones, Matthew Jones and his wife, Elizabeth Batson-Jones, and Megan Jones and her fiancé, Ryan Hines; 10 grandchildren, David Jones, Sr., Ashley Jones, Stacey Reichenbach, Nichole Reichenbach, Devante Dunyoh, Brittany Grimes, Westley Jones, Adora Jones, Hanna Hines, and Dade Hines; five great grandchildren, David Jones, Jr., Noah Marani, Sebastian Oakley, Royal Dunyoh, and Silas Oakley; and six siblings, Vicki Shawler, Phillip Jones, Donald Jones, Timothy Jones, James Jones, and Paula Singh.
