Corrine S. "Connie" Lawrence

Corrine S. “Connie” Lawrence, 78, of Hanover, beloved wife of Ronald Lawrence, entered into God’s eternal care on Monday, June 15, 2026 at Homewood Living at Plum Creek.

Born on Tuesday, May 4, 1948 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth B. and Emma L. (Bair) Hershey. Connie was a graduate of Hanover High School and later received her Associate’s degree from Strayer University. She was a former employee of Hanover Hospital and retired from the Hanover Public School District where she was an administrative assistant. A member of Trinity United Church of Christ, she enjoyed doing cross-stitch, but always loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 55 years, she is survived by two daughters, Jamie Kuchar and her husband, Michael, of Philadelphia, and Kelly Hobbs and her husband, Charles; five grandchildren, Collin, Emily, Emma, Ethan and Charlotte; a sister, Kerry Corley; and a niece, Erica.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 22, 2026 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway in Hanover. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
