Christa E. Louthian

Christa E. Louthian, 70, of Hanover, wife of James D. “Jim” Louthian, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at her home.

Born on Wednesday, April 15, 1953 in Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Kurt Ernst Linke and Hildegaurd Tellbach Linke. Christa enjoyed working as a cook for Red Lobster Restaurants and was a member of Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church in Quarryville. Gifted with her hands, she loved doing crafts and sewing, and she will be long remembered for being an all around good hearted person.

In addition to her husband of nearly 30 years, Christa is survived by a son, Christopher Nelson of Clarksville, Tennessee.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway in Hanover. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
