Charles K. “Charlie” Cross, 86, of Littlestown, beloved husband of Paula V. (Brauning) Cross, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.
Born on Thursday August 3, 1939 in Kingsport, TN, he was a son of the late James Leonard Cross and Ardis Mae (Bennett) Cross. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brooklyn Cross; and a brother, James Leonard Cross, Jr. Charlie was a tour bus driver for Lincoln Bus Lines and was later employed as a truck driver. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Cuban Crisis and was a member of the Littlestown Eagles Aerie #2226. He enjoyed going to yard sales and auctions, and fishing.
In addition to his loving wife of 60 years, survivors include two sons, Vance A Cross of Keymar, MD and V. Heath Cross of New Oxford; four grandchildren, Brandon Cross, Alaura McKinney and husband, Owen, Alexandria Drick and husband, Hal, and Xavier Cross; three great-grandchildren, Levi and Lily McKinney, and Emma Cross; and one brother, Larry Marlin Cross of Hagerstown, MD.
A private service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
