Bernadine E. Smith
Bernadine Elizabeth Smith, 90, of New Oxford, died Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Hanover Hospital following a brief illness.
Born on May 24, 1923 in Abbottstown, she was a daughter of the late Emory and Katherine Moul Bievenour. She was also preceded in death by her husband, brother and infant son. She was a 1942 graduate of Delone Catholic High School and was a member of St. Joseph Parish. She enjoyed crocheting and making hankerchiefs. She really enjoyed the pineapple design and was an avid reader.
She is survived by three cousins and a sister in law.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at a later date. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
