Barbara Jane Barnitt Fink, 92, was received into Glory on October 23, 2025 at Homewood Living Plum Creek.
Born February 27, 1933 in Jersey City, NJ she was the daughter of the late Robert and Violet (Schick) Barnitt. She was educated in the New Jersey School system and began her working career with what was then The Hackensack Trust Company, and after 27 years, retired from Garden State National Bank with the title of Assistant Treasurer.
Barbara came to know Jesus Christ as her personal Savior on July 24, 1957 and was actively involved in teaching and missions at First Baptist Church, Hackensack NJ and the Whiting Bible Church, Whiting NJ, and was presently a member of Calvary Bible Church in Hanover PA.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Raymond A. Fink on July 26, 2001, her beloved sister, Doris I. Kemme, on May 1, 2010, her step-grandson Christopher R. Fink, and her step-sons Ronald Fink and Joseph Fink.
Barbara is survived by her brother-in-law Herbert R. Kemme of Hanover PA; niece, Gail Kollmar and husband Doug of Spring Grove PA, and their children, David Kollmar of Cedarville OH, Elizabeth Kollmar of Spring Grove PA, and Julia Kollmar of Spring Grove PA; 5 step-children Raymond J Fink and wife Marcia of Indialantic FL, Michael Fink and wife Margaret of NJ, Rita Keith of Albuquerque NM, James Fink and wife Terry of Lithia FL, Thomas Fink and wife Linda of Seaside Park NJ, daughters-in-law Linda Fink of St Petersburg Beach FL and Ellen Fink of Brick NJ; 16 step-grandchildren; and 15 stepgreat-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Ave, Hanover. A graveside service will be held following the visitation at 2:30 p.m. in St Paul's (Dubs) Church Cemetery.
