Albert L. Luckenbaugh, Jr.

Albert L. Luckenbaugh, Jr., 78, formerly of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg.

Born on Thursday, May 22, 1947 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Albert L. Luckenbaugh, Sr. and Vivian (Shull) Luckenbaugh. Albert was a 1965 graduate of New Oxford High School and was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired in 1997 from the former Bowen & McLaughlin in York after 20 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and especially loved all animals.

Survivors include four children, Kimberly Fitzpatrick and her husband, Michael, of Roxboro, NC, Eric Luckenbaugh, Lynnette Schilb and her husband, David, all of Hanover, and Kristin Luckenbaugh of York; and six grandchildren, Devin Luckenbaugh and his wife, Nina, Isiah Luckenbaugh, and Riley, Elias, Tyler and Connor Schilb. In addition to his parents, Albert was also preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Luckenbaugh; and a sister, Debra Eyer-Scott.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on December 7, 2025 from 4 to 6:00 PM at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway in Hanover.
