Marietta R. Wildasin

March 7, 1936 - February 2, 2022

Marietta R. Wildasin, 85, of Glenville, beloved wife of Oren M. Wildasin, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at her home. Born on Saturday, March 7, 1936 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Ralph N. and Treva M. Sterner Leppo. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Josephine Bechtel; and her granddaughter, Nicole Whitcomb. Marietta was a member of St. David’s (Sherman) United Church of Christ. She enjoyed farming, being outside, and caring for all of her animals. Survivors in addition to her husband of 63 years include two children, Arthur Wildasin and Orlena Whitcomb; four grandchildren, Ian Whitcomb and his wife, Melissa, Brandon Whitcomb and his companion, Missy Hertz, and Sean Fowble; four great grandchildren; and two siblings, Lorraine Moore and her husband, Carnell Dorsey, and Wendell Leppo and his wife, Carla. A graveside will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at St Paul’s (Dubs) Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Thursday at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover.
