Evelyn V. Warner

Evelyn V. Warner, 92, of New Oxford, entered into God’s eternal care on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Cross Keys Village-The Brethren Home Community.

Born on Saturday, May 24, 1924 in Lineboro, MD, she was a daughter of the late James M. and Vernie Bailey Weaver. The last of her generation, she was preceded in death by her eight siblings and her husband of 59 years, Clarence J. Warner, who died in 2005. Evelyn was a member of St. Paul (Dubs) Union Church and enjoyed quilting.

Survivors include a daughter, Joyce E. Arndt; two sons, Gerald E. Warner and Dale L. Warner; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Warner.

A funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday, October 1, 2016 at St. Paul (Dubs) Union Church with The Rev. Larry M. Estepp officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul (Dubs) Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held from 5 to 7 pm Friday at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover and, at the church, one hour prior to the service.
