Deborah S. Montz

Deborah S. Montz, 63, of Hanover, PA was welcomed by God’s warm embrace on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at UPMC Hanover Hospital with her loving family surrounding her. Born in Baltimore, MD on January 30, 1959, she was daughter to Don Mason and Althea Mendaloff. Deborah and her husband Walter Montz shared 45 years of marriage. Deborah enjoyed all family gatherings and events, playing board games, and putting puzzles together, writing in journals, and in her earlier year’s dirt track racing. In addition to her loving husband Walter Montz, Deborah is survived by her mother, Althea Mendaloff and her husband, Nicholas; brother, Don Mason and his wife, Lori; sister, Pamela Mason; daughter, Anna Kress and her husband Jerry; son, Robert Montz and his wife, Jeanna; daughter, Samantha Martin and her husband, Chad; grandchildren, Tyler Ullrich, Isabell Montz, Payton Montz, Cataleya Martin, and Maliyah Martin. No memorial service will be held at this time. The family is reserving a private graveside service at a later date.
